TORPEDOES

Two WWII torpedoes on show at Fort St Elmo. I asked my elder brother to pose for me near them to show their size.
On the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the award to Malta of the George Cross, Fort St Elmo was open to the public for free and for just one day – 13th September, exactly one month ago. So my brother and I decided to revisit having been there on a previous occasion.
Many thanks for all your views, comments and favs. Always much appreciated.
These are big, to whom were they to be shot at??

@777margo I suppose they were fired from British warships against German and Italian warships or submarines.

Brings to life the scary effect of war especially in our troubled world today.

BTW...I posted quite a moving story from a stranger photo I did earlier this year. It's in the discussion thread
