MOTHER OF STORMS - GĦAR ID-DUD (2)

Five more shots of Għar Id-Dud under attack from the stormy sea. I have taken many, many shots of this location during the storm and was very unsure which to post until I chose these.
A storm like this, we call it “Grigalata” because it comes from the North East the direction from Malta to Greece, was the cause that brought the Apostle St Paul to Malta in around 60AD. The galley on which he was travelling, having faced three whole days of seas like this finally, was shipwrecked here.
Many thanks for your views, comments, and FAV’s. They are very much appreciated.
Wonderful collage of images showing the full force of the storm. You were very brave to be out in it.
