ANOTHER SQUARE, ANOTHER CROWD

From my V18 album.
We finally made it through to Castille Square where another laser/light show was going on. We got there half way through the show. Another square overflowing with people. I had to watch and take shots from way back behind this equipment tower. The theme here was highlights of Maltese history. Here a soldier of the Order of St John covers part of the façade of the Auberge de Castille, now the Maltese Prime Minister’s Office.
It is calculated that at least 25% of Maltese inhabitants flocked to Valletta to watch/participate in the celebrations. No wonder wherever we went people were packed like sardines.
