From our fifth day and last full day in Rome
This is a shot of Piazza di Spagnia, this time from the top of the hill near the Church of Trinita’ dei Monti. This was the first time that I took shots of this very popular square which also incudes the Spanish steps from the top of the hill.
I bet most of those who visited Rome have not been up here to take shots from this perspective.
Many thanks for all your views, comments and fav’s – always appreciated.
It is supposed to be my birthday today but I'm erasing it from my memory as it is another day at home. I have lost count of the days of the week now. But I have started to go for a short walk around our quarters in spite of the lockdown.
I recognised this shot straight away as we walked up the steps & took this photo showing the street opposite. We then walked up along a road to the square overlooking a Rome near the park. Great view...thank you for reminding me of a happy time. Happy birthday...it’s my youngest sons birthday today too!
Happy Birthday Dione! I'm sorry it's not as fun as others you've enjoyed but just think you 'll be able to celebrate a second time when all of this is over. Spectacular view!
good pov and linearity. I try and get in a two mile walk in the woods around our house every day. At our ages we have to keep up the exercises. :) Happy Birthday!
Someone posted on 365 that the days of the week have been renamed Thisday, Thatday, Otherday, Someday, Yesterday, Today and Nextday.
Happy birthday Dione even in these strange times!
Happy Birthday Dione! (we share the same day) Hope you had a Great day.
