GREY HERON

Saw him a couple of weeks ago at Salini Salt Pans on the far side of the pans, so image is enlarged several times. This is another first for me, but I have to say that I have only been looking for birds since the beginning of covid19 restrictions.

I saw herons on the beach while in the Maldives. One sat on a deckchair, looking calmly out to sea, then flew low over the waves and into the distance.
