Another church shot taken one week before that of yesterday. This is the Jesus of Nazareth Church in Sliema. The church has been given an uplift with new seating and the cleaning of walls and statues. The double shadow of Jesus in the middle statue immediately drew my attention and I had to take a picture. This church as well as that of L—Isla in yesterday’s shots suffered serious damage during WWII, both cupolas had to be rebuilt and walls repaired. However, I only remember as they look today.
Thank you so much for your visits, for your comments and for your fav's - always appreciated.
What a beautiful church, and yes the double shadow of Christ in the centre panel is quite strange - I wander if there is a special significance to this! fav

( If I had know it I could.)
The interior looks pristine like it was renovated only yesterday. Lovely shot.
