GĦAQBA WINDMILL by sangwann

GĦAQBA WINDMILL

From my walk with Max on Maundy Thursday when he started his Easter Holidays.

This is a recently restored windmill at Naxxar. The windmill dates from 3 centuries ago and has been very beautifully restored at a cost of around 2 million euros. The coloured lighting on the windmill at night time is magical but I haven’t had the opportunity to go to take some shots at night, mostly because I am too lazy to go out just to take a photo or two.
Thank you for your looks comments and fav's on yesterday's picture.

5 sails on the windmill? That is unusual......or maybe it is six....I am used to four which is the norm in England
