I received a copy of this old photo from my sister who is over in the Western Isles at the moment. It was in a magazine from the village where my Dad grew up and there are six of my first cousins in this picture, a few second cousins and some other children I used to play with in summer holidays! WOW ....what a lot of memories it holds!
Three good things
1. Still in touch with so many of these people!
2. Local history magazines are real treasure.
3. Christmas letters started!
That is lovely to have Sallie...I love looking back at old photos. An old school friend gave me her copy of the school photo a few years ago so we kept in touch...I sent her a card & the other day her daughter rang to say she had died if covid...I was shocked!
