Discovery Centre

From our outing on Saturday- such an interesting place and a beautifully restored old church building.
The sky was blue but the wind was biting.
The tapestry was lovely but difficult to take a photo of as it was behind glass and there was a railing cutting off the lower part in the picture.
Some arrowheads - they had been found in an old 'throat pastilles' box, which was also displayed beside them as part of the agreement with the finder. Really beautiful pieces crafted a long time ago.....difficult to date, but the pastilles tin was just 200 years old if I remember correctly!!!
And you can see something of the refurbished interior in the lower right photo.
Three good things
1. Always something new to find in familiar settings
2. Fresh air and fabulous views
3. A lovely cup of tea with some gingerbread
Everything looks so neatly preserved
