at Dornoch Cathedral. ....one of my very favourite places. This afternoon Mum and I had a nice coffee outing and what a glorious drive it was too. Meanwhile Dad had a good afternoon nap after a slightly stressful visit to the optician at lunchtime. We take for granted being able to anticipate some details of appointments. .
....but when processing slows / memory issues don't retain the details of previous visits the whole experience needs a reassuring helper! Thankfully Dad was reassured -told Mum I was a great help, as soon as we got back. Just being there makes the difference!
Three good things
1. Sunshine gardening in the morning
2. Dad's eyes are amazing. ...He can read the smallest print on the card without his glasses on though much easier with them of course! Not bad for reaching 90 in three weeks.
3. Meeting very good friends when out for coffee.

Thank you for your lovely comments!
It's just such a privilege to still have them able to cope together at home still and relatively easy for me to get up so regularly 😊
