Laura's friend and her mum visited us this afternoon and brought a beautiful indoor rose plant which looks very happy in our family space. Lots of chat and catch up and laughter.
Three good things
1. Girls' beds off to charity group who can find people to use them
2. Fantastic clear up of all my school stuff which had drifted into the study during the holidays. ....now it all has a place as Allan cleared 4 shelves in the bookcase and large Tesco bag full of books for Oxfam shop.
3. The last of the lamb tagine for tea....better than ever!
Always nicer as a left over meal the next day! It said this time of the year was the busiest for rubbish recycling as we all chuck stuff out! I think a yellow rose suits you perfectly Sallie!
