Oh well, struggling already - did wonder how I'd cope when back at work. (Didn't help I was still working to 11pm last night preparing stuff after getting home and cooking.) And this week we're working the weekend too.
This is the view from the top platform at Canning Town, where I change when going to one of the places on my travels - it's a DLR station on several levels an this view looks across a loop of the River Lea at Canary Wharf - the building with the triangular top is 1 Canada Towers, which was the tallest building in London for a while.
Thank you for looking at my pictures - you're all superstars. I'll try to keep up, but I don't promise
Lovely shot....i find it hard to get good photos in low light...this is great...a few days in and im struggling too...leave for work in the dark for a twelve hour shift..get home in the dark...will persevere..im going for the anything is better than nothing approach..
oh, commuting in the dark. I can relate. I was supposed to be back at that, but they cancelled school today in most places in Georgia, because we cannot handle -8 wind chill factor. We MIGHT get out of school tomorrow, but it will be in the teens, so it is not likely. I dread going back to work and the "in the dark commute" and no time to concentrate on books/reading, photos, and other "fun" things. Hang in there!
Nice one. I don't think I've seen my commute in daylight for months, apart from this afternoon, when it was a novelty to rediscover the landscape I used to know. (Even if half of it was under water.)
Nice shot! It can get hard when you're so busy. When I did my first project if I got a free day I would take as many shots as possible, then use them for the busier days. Some would call it cheating (photo a day and all that) but I call it "better than a bunch of holes in your project" lol!
