Fog and dew on my way into work yesterday morning - and an attempt at the Camera Setting Challenge - wide aperture. This is at f3.5 on the Av setting (plus macro). Because it is a technical challenge, I haven't done much to this shot, cropped out a sign to the left and taken some of the sky out to keep the aspect ratio.
I suspect the wall in this shot is on borrowed time, it's the wall to the old school, most recently junior school. It's a site that's been left empty for a couple of years while the district council dithered about plans, and the county council got frustrated at paying security on the site. It's now under offer for development. The infant school site was redeveloped and is now a state of the art primary school which means that they have to shut when there's a power cut because the toilets don't work.
Really beautiful shot and fabulous textures and details with those droplets. Nice use of wide aperture to blur out the background and emphasize the foggy feeling.
