Let there be light - b&w

Sorry, mad catch up - having my daughter down for the weekend and meetings after work on Monday and Tuesday plus a tube strike today doesn't make for spare time

This is the black and white version of the pillars and light in my main album to show the choices made between black and white and colour. This one is processed using RGB components and merging the layers using dissolve for one layer, which adds grain. It is an entry for week 2 of the February B&W Book Club - http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/20950/bw-book-club-week-2-feb-3-9

Thank you for looking and your amazing response to my light trails picture, and the geometry before that. I'm going to try and catch up on your pictures before posting another picture so I catch up gradually.
This my preferred version - it shows off the lines and shapes without the distraction of the different colours.

@vignouse yes - I was taking pictures for b&w - not for colour - but the conversation was to show the colour version too for discussion

Looks great in b&w. I think I need to get more sophisticated in my conversion technique.

The b/w works here for shapes and lines. As a shot I prefer the colour, think it has more life.
