Really not sure about this - but was playing with the b&w book club high ISO - as high as I could get the camera (it was really dark) and then processed it with sepia and fuzzy border (not the vintage photo setting on GIMP). It's for for week 5 of the b&w bookclub - http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/21304/bw-bc-week-5-feb-24-28
Sorry to dump and run, out last night in the live audience of Click on wearable technology and out tonight at Guides, so I'm going to be a useless follower.
Thank you so much for looking - you're all wonderful.
I like your processing and the scene. I find my eye focusing on the lights more than the street or the building. Not sure if that is what you were intending.
Think there is to much light which brings the eye on to them and also for me theit is to much noise in the dark areas. One of the problems I surpose using very high iso.
@esox one of the points of using the high ISO was to get the grain as part of the black and white bookclub challege. The shots I put up on Flickr I much preferred personally, but they didn't fit the criteria of the month's challenge.
Good that you were pushing the boundaries and it's not like you were intending to print this out A3 size..... It works as an example and I like the ambience...
