Factory machinery

This is for the b&w bookclub and is using HDR in b&w for week 5 of the b&w bookclub - http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/21304/bw-bc-week-5-feb-24-28 - this one is using Luminance on a single picture - so really tone mapping.

"Lovely" student wasn't in today, Thursday, so I ended up in the head office, which is on an industrial estate in South Wimbledon - this was next to a factory that looks as if it's going out of use.

Sorry I didn't get near following anyone for the last few days - a mixture of things conspired against me, but I will catch up today.

Thank you all for looking, particularly as I'm dumping and running at the moment and not having a chance to catch up on your pictures.
I like these Urbex type shots and the processing in this one is exquisite.

This is great Shanne, I'd like to spend an hour here!! I think the old Plough Lane stadium could be a good location too, I think it still exists. Fav for this,

@seanoneill no that stadium is housing now - used to watch Wimbledon play there. The industrial estate around the back where the greyhound ground was might be better grounds - I worked at a factory there for a while - off Earlsfield Road. This estate is further south - between South Wimbledon and Merton tube stops - it's on Lombard Road off Morden Road - near Merton Park tram stop (I got to play on the trams too, and some shots of various fun tube stations)

@shannejw that's a shame, I watched Southampton there in 85 I think it was. I guess there are lots of industrial places when we look around. I love the trams too, we will soon have 3 lines in Nottingham, with the nearest park and ride 10 minutes from us, can't wait!!

Great work on this Shanne. Looks like an album cover for a Pink Floyd album.

No need to apologize to me, I'm the worst follower ever. Cool shot, I really like that you kept the barbed wires and didn't crop those away.
