The turret on the right hand side of the church porch has new and recent repairs - and I liked the contrast between the new gargoyle shape and the old weathered one.
Cold bleak and miserable today, and although I could have got away with a walk this morning without the sleeping daughter noticing at all, after yesterday I didn't dare. She's happy as she signed up at the library for e-books and I did get her out for a wander as well as the trip to the library.
Three good things:
