This is All Souls' Church, Langham Place, which caught my eye for the tents pitched for the homeless - four this side, with someone sleeping in a sleeping bag on a cardboard base and another two or three sleeping bags round the other side. Title from Paul Young's, Wherever I Lay My Hat, That's My Home
There for a the last recording of The Infinite Monkey Cage of the current, 19th, series in the BBC Radio Theatre, Professor Brian Cox and Robin Ince - this one based on the universe. The stream of people walking down on the left are almost certainly coming from the show too.
No dawn shots of the moon eclipse because we just had clouds when I checked at 4am and again at 6am.
Three good things:
1. Getting out to a show - laughter being good for the soul and all that;
2. Meeting up with someone I haven't seen for a while;
3. Longer walk with my daughter than she's managed for a bit
Thank you for looking and any comments and/or favs. I was surprised and delighted that the Wolf Supermoon Rising made the PP, I prefer to check your pictures rather than thank you individually here.
We've noticed a real increase in "impromptu camping" on our recent trips to London. It's all very sad.
This building looks so familiar that I was sure we'd walked past it recently, but looking at a map, we can't have done. I wonder if we passed it last year on a bimble up to the British Museum. It is a grand old thing.
glad you had some enjoyable entertainment. it is good to have that once in a while. the golden tone of this shot is rather catching. too bad for the homeless tents. we do have a lot of homeless people in toronto also. i think it's a common enough problem of big cities.
