I haven't taken a shot of this wall for ages, but it used to be one of my favourite subjects when covered with droplets like this. Partly because last summer here it was dry and parched. I did try it in b&w, but the red and green are too close in tone and it loses something.
This is the wall outside the old school buildings, most recently the junior school, which my daughter attended in the 90s, but I chatted to grandfathers collecting children who were bombed out of these buildings when it was their secondary school. These buildings have been replaced with modern buildings for both a secondary school in the 60s, which was rebuilt in the last 10 years (it was being rebuilt in 2012), and a rebuilt primary school on what was the 60s/70s infants school site. It has spent the last 10 years waiting for something to happen to these buildings - there are several blocks some of which are listed.
Three good things:
1. I now have a new shirt pattern to experiment with - the pyjama top my daughter has made fits me better than her, and is better fit than the shirt pattern I've been using;
2. New monthly Burda pattern magazine has some good patterns to make up;
3. Lovely mild walk, with the noticeably later sunset time - it was too late for me to still be out.
Thank you for looking and your lovely comments and favs. I prefer to look at your pictures if you comment rather than thank you here.
