Who knew? I own 8 pairs of chopsticks and 3 cooking chopsticks, as I discovered when I went looking for Chinese props to take pictures, it being cold, wet and miserable and not somewhere I wanted to be out in. This is for the Flash of Red February challenge - and it amuses me that the fan is red with black characters (and a gold border), as are the red lacquer chopsticks on the right. And Chinese props as this is the start of the year of the pig. This week the focus is on textures and patterns and as yesterday this is as taken other than conversion to b&w, as the 52 week challenge is for an unedited picture, and I'm trying to post them all week as it makes me compose pictures better.
Three good things:
1. New project that I've been trying to get up and running started today;
2. I managed to pass my tickets for tonight on to someone else, so they did at least get used;
3. I checked out the letter this morning before I did anything else, so didn't get scammed.
Thank you for looking and your comments and any favs. You're all superstars. I try to spend time looking at other photos rather than saying thank you individually.
I really ought to go and get my eyes tested! I'd seen the thumbnail for this shot and was about to comment that I'm a sucker for a spiral staircase shot just as I realised what this actually was. I really like your comp here and it works very well
