This stack is a selection of my hats, and having looked it up the brims are too big to be trilby hats, so they are probably fedoras made of synthetic white straw, straw and pinstripe felt, so a range of textures for the Flash of Red February challenge. And a trilby is a fedora with a narrower brim and a turned up back, named after the play. These have turned up backs, but broader brims than suggested. Bought last year as some protection from UV, which the white top one is too lacy to achieve, and kept as I like them. And this would have worked better with the blur from yesterday.
Three good things:
1. My green dye job worked well (fabric to make pyjamas and my greying nightshirt)
2. We scored gluten free Lemon Drizzle Cake at half price from Marks and Spencer (it's not cheap, we only buy it when it's reduced).
3. Two travel together rail card arrived today
Thank you for looking and any comments or favs, you are such a supportive community. I try to spend time looking at other people's pictures rather than thanking everyone individually here.
Cools hats. Last summer I had to buy one (made of cloth) for when I go swimming. My doctor forced me to buy one because of a small growth on one of my ears which resulted as having been the effect of the high uv.
@summerfield I have lots of hats - I had to wear them all last year and SPF50+ sun block. I gave a couple that didn't work so well to the charity shop, but I've kept most of them.
