For my Get Pushed challenge this week, @toinette challenged me to take a stair from an unusual angle and for the last few days of the Flash of Red February we are focussing on contrast - and this is a deliberately high key image.
Three good things from yesterday:
1. up to cooking so lots of fruit and vegetables (stir fry for lunch and tomato and spinach sauce with polenta for supper)
2. Next project cut out for my daughter - a tailored shirt (she can't cut anything out, so I get to do it)
3. Project after that all set up with washed and ironed fabric (quilt for her bed)
Thank you for looking and your lovely comments and favs. I prefer
to look at your pictures instead of saying thank you individually below.
@shannejw Thanks for the answer. It is an interesting staircase as well as an interesting shot of it. As @shutterbug mentioned the break in the railing confuses and also the shadows on the brick wall and the underside of the top landing made me question my view of reality. I do love an image that makes me question my perception.
Great find! I like that you gave it a white vignetting. It gives it a stairs to no where vibe (I mean that as a compliment - sometimes my words stink!)
