OK, so I'm not sure this worked, but I've spent too long playing with it and am bored now - it's an attempt to see if I could produce an effect like the liquefy (a long way down that page) that @graemestevens was using last month. It's trying to make fruit more interesting for the rainbow project using GIMP. I suspect I could do better if I played again.
Three good things:
1. pancakes for lunch - both filled with a savoury filling of smoked haddock, peas and spinach and as pudding with fruit (mine had the orange above);
2. my asthma meds prescription came through just in time (I ran out this morning);
3. I got QI tickets for next week
