Evening walk out on this path through a field of barley, as is the next field. Glorious smell of bean flowers from a field to the left, and just about in sight on the horizon is the red dot of one of the more interesting Elizabethan houses in the country. As the more I look at this, the more I feel it fits the this week's Dogwood challenge: Inspiration: Serenity
What does Serenity mean to you?
About the Inspiration category:
“In this wide-open category, we start with a simple inspiration. Use this inspiration as creatively as you can. There are no rules so feel free to think outside of the box.”
I'm now tagging this for the challenge. This felt serene, full of bird song and wonderful smells, the most amazing relaxing walk. The quotation is from Sting's Fields of Gold
Three good things:
1. Lovely evening walk across the fields
2. Baking session making gluten free pastry that worked - rolled out into the flan tins OK, making quiche Lorraine and a lime meringue pie that tastes amazing, the custard hasn't set.
3. Daughter well enough to leave for an hour and a half for this 4.5 mile walk - she only texted me as I was nearly home.
Thank you for looking and your amazing response to the dandelion. You're all wonderful. I prefer to look at your pictures rather than thank you individually below.
@365karly1 a slice is only an option in a bowl with a spoon, I'm afraid. I really didn't do a good job of setting the custard using dairy-free, gluten-free ingredients.
