blackberries in waiting

Lots of bees on the brambles too, but they kept flying away from the camera.

Three good things:
1. Got into the bike shed to be by climbing over the gate and chopped down the wilderness growing within - the longest bit was removing the ivy root that had grown up along the hinge
2. Fun to be involved in a joint enterprise with the neighbours
3. Roast chicken with all the trimmings for lunch - which happens very rarely, but I found a ready bagged chicken to roast for £1.25 at the end of Saturday.

Thank you for looking and all your amazing comments. I prefer to spend time looking at your pictures rather than thanking you individually below.
My you've been productive! I'm tired just reading about all the yard work, but know how rewarding it is. Lovely shot with beautiful detail.

@vignouse Tesco's - they really reduce the fresh food at 7pm here, 2pm on Sundays, and I'm part of the group who haunts the store then - and checks out M&S too

@vignouse usual price is 25% of cost in the evening sell off, 10% of cost if they have lot to get rid of. After Christmas I had a freezer full of 10% food
