The changing times of day

This is this week's entry for Get Pushed. This week @jacqbb asked:
For your challenge could you make a photo in the style of a Salvador Dali painting?

So this is an attempt, not one I'm happy with, but having played for a while (the watch was taken straight on, and I scrubbed my first attempt), I've run out of time.

Sorry to be so far behind, I had a mad week with two new mattresses arriving on Monday, one morning, one afternoon, which then needed arranging on beds to unroll for 24 hours before we could sleep on them and the old ones taken downstairs and outside to be collected by the special collection service first thing on Thursday morning. One mattress sorted on Monday, old one outside on Tuesday, second mattress unwrapped and the old one removed on Wednesday. Then the sink part I'd been waiting for a week arrived on Tuesday and I spent some time replumbing the sink. And we had girl guide camp and I went into London to try and buy promises badges on Thursday, and spent quite a bit of Friday making Friendship bracelet kits. In the middle of this lot, I swapped laptops, so mad catch up continuing, and we've been dressmaking. I have a jacket completed except for the pockets and buttons.

Three good things from Friday:
1. Lots of fun friendship bracelet kits
2. my daughter finished her next attempt at a blouse - in cream broiderie anglaise, which is really pretty;
3. Really scored on my late night foray for food being reduced.

Thank you for looking, sorry to be so flaky. I will try to catch up with your pictures over the next few days. I only have two more pictures to post to get me up to date, but I'll leave them to tomorrow morning.
@jacqbb - sorry it's late - an attempt at your challenge

Love the watch - very Dali-ish

I think you've created a very interesting image here.

Looks Dali-esque to me! Well done

You may not be happy with it but I th8nk it’s brilliant

The Persistence of Memory, rides again! Immediately recognizable, even by a non-art expert like me, as channelling Dali so I’d say its a successful challenge response.

This is excellent! And it is so well done even with all the distractions you had this week.
Love it and it's A FAV!

@shannejw Love it! A great response to my challenge Shanne. So fav worthy!
June 24th, 2019
Very well done Shanne, I love Dali and recognised this immediately.
June 24th, 2019
Well done, a good Dali look-alike!
June 24th, 2019
I think you've done pretty well Shanne!
June 24th, 2019
Why weren’t you happy with it?
June 24th, 2019
@shutterbug49 no sure I've done a good enough job on the watch, but by the time I got this far it was gone midnight. I would have liked to fiddle around with the hands and numbers and have them flying away.
June 24th, 2019
@shannejw I like it and you can always keep fiddling with it.
June 24th, 2019
@shutterbug49 yes, but it was for last week's Get Pushed, that needed to be posted.

Terrific job!

I am amazed by the idea and by the execution
June 24th, 2019
nailed it!
June 24th, 2019
Brilliant job.
June 24th, 2019
You're awesome! And I think your Dali-esque picture is too.

I seem to have missed a lot of your posts somehow. I have no idea why you were not happy with this. I think it is instantly recognisable as a Salvador Dali inspired shot and has all the features. And all in the midst of a hectic week. Pretty cool work, I'd say!
