Spheres and spikes

This was taken on the way back from our Sunday evening walk out into the fields, still looking for b&w abstracts for Get Pushed, although I am not tagging this for that too. I liked the patterns of spikes and spheres in this seed head

Three good things from Sunday:
1. Both our prescriptions were in when we went to pick them up (asthma meds for me), although only I'd had the text;
2. Lovely sunny wander in the fields in the evening;
3. I put my favourite pair of shorts back into commission (they are too loose now) by playing around with sashiko and boro effects

Thank you for looking and your amazing support
Ooh I like this!

Considering what the spikes of my roses and other plants in the garden, these look very dangerous. But you have captured it very well and b&w is perfect to bring out the details.

They look like they could really hurt!
Your b&w really high lights the spikes.

Hi Shanne, sorry for the delay in posting you a challenge - we were without power for a few days. My challenge to you is to work with the rule of odds.
