1st week of winter and the daffodils are sprouting. We lost a friend to covid yesterday. It’s the first friend I have knowingly lost to covid. Knowingly because I worry about a couple of the 365ers that I have followed that have just disappeared and I don’t know why. So stay healthy and be cautious.
Oh... doomed plants. We're had 18 degrees today in the sun. And i saw a big colorful butterfly. Poor doomed thing. We should have -10 at this time.
It really is a strange year.
I'm so sorry for your loss - your shot / homage is great for hope. I too have wondered about a couple of our fellow 365ers I never see anymore - even though many of us have left messages for them :-(
Your shot makes me think of spring...which is a long way off here. I’m sorry for the loss of your friend. Praying these newly released vaccines will be the answer eventually.
So sorry for your loss, horrid disease. We have lost three people to it now and like you, I worry when people suddenly disappear on here. What a beautiful symbol of new life and Spring in your image.
My condolences on the loss of your friend. So far we have not lost anyone to Covid. All have survived but one friend did end up in the hospital for a little over a week.
