Intruder in the kitchen

Hubby and I are normally good at working together in the kitchen, but this oxygen line is doing its best to try to trip us.
Good you're on your feet, are you dancing???

Oh no. You certainly don’t need a trip hazard.

Ooo, be careful!

I’m glad you are back in the kitchen together and hope you are able to get off the oxygen soon.

@sugarmuser Thanks. I’m glad for that also.

Classic! Hope you are off it soon too. Love your shoes and this photo idea!

Great shot. My hubby was on oxygen most of the time I always had to watch where the pipe might be.

Ha! You had me fooled. At first i thought hubby was the intruder :)

Great shot and caption, hope it will soon be over and you can both do what you normally do.

@wakelys Seriously, the last thing I want is a broken hip.

@365anne @ludwigsdiana Thanks so much. I feel better everyday.

@casablanca You would notice the shoes....fits right in with your theme.

@wendyfrost I think it’s harder for the person that is not on oxygen like you because at least I know where the tube is and where it is going.

@monikozi That’s funny.
April 12th, 2021
Looks like you are dancing :)

Pat
Love the POV, such a great subject.

Be careful!!
April 13th, 2021
Uh oh, careful where you step!
April 15th, 2021
Great POV! I hope you don’t need the extra oxygen for too long?!?
I wore a heart monitor for a month and of course, I didn’t have the fast heart rate/panic attack symptoms! With 3 leads, extra cell phone and recorder, my son said I looked like I was wired for undercover work and I thought someone might think I was wired for a bomb. Glad I was home most of the time. :)

@gardenfolk Sounds like more than my little nose piece.

I do hope you'll be freed up from the oxygen asap! I was amazed I did not have to have oxygen when I went home. But when I had to wear the mask and tubing in the hospital I had to keep reminding myself it was helping me to breathe and my lungs to heal. I don't know if you can make the tubing shorter by wrapping some of it around the tank but I certainly understand your worries about tripping over it. All that being said, I really think this is a fun shot!

@olivetreeann I do wrap the tubing when I use the tank....outside the house. In the house I have an oxygen concentrator with a 50 foot cord. At least it lets me move around. I have appointment with new doctor Friday to make a plan to wean off the oxygen. So hopefully soon. I can get away with short times off...like to go to the mailbox. Hope you are still improving and have no long term effects. I blame my results on telemedicine. I was quite sick for 2 weeks before I was properly diagnosed because telemedicine can’t listen to lungs or check your oxygen.

@shutterbug49 I improve a little bit each day. Muscle strength is what needs the most attention. I'm still amazed they let me come home without oxygen- but very happy! The fact that you can do some short term things without the oxygen is a very good sign. You will continue to improve with the right balance of taking it off and doing something and keeping it on. I've never used tele-medicine. I think I'm supposed to have a visiting nurse come at some point but for me the PT home visits are more important. I want to get my muscle strength back. Stay well!
April 26th, 2021
@olivetreeann I think you are right about the muscle strength. I am so glad I have a PT visit each week. It is helping a lot.
