It’s Cinco de Mayo. Hope we can celebrate next year. One time I had an opportunity to work in Kalmar Sweden for 6 weeks. I was walking to lunch with some colleagues. I suddenly said “It’s the 4th of July”. Their response “Yes, and tomorrow is the 5th”. The 4th of July is a big holiday here in the US to celebrate our Independence Day as is the 5th of May for our neighbor Mexico.
@carole_sandford LOL! For sure, we don’t either. I’m glad we could become friends and allies. One of my grandmothers was born in Chester. I have visited the UK a number of times. Love it!
The rise in popularity with a number of holidays like Cinco de Mayo just goes to show Americans really don't care about the reason or meaning behind the holiday- they just like a reason to party! Good for you on the exercise- right now my pt is a good work out but I'll have to figure something out once that's over. Good shot!
