Tahoe 11

Lake Tahoe has many tributaries flowing in, but only one outflow, the Truckee river. They try to control it’s flow to protect recreation and salmon.

@ludwigsdiana They do allow fishing for part of the year on Lake Tahoe and on the Truckee, but some distance away from the Lake.

@k9photo The Lake itself is famously clear and this outflow is only about 300 feet down from the Lake.

@blueberry1222 Unfortunately, yes. It is becoming the norm for this time of year. Our air is unhealthy, so staying inside even though our 10 days of plus 100 degree temps has finally broken.
