Rain and Superbowl precluded Sunday photos, so I'm filling in with another portrait from the same session that resulted in my Marlboro Man shot from last week. Pilar here is another fine photographer who took her turn being the subject for our lesson. I liked this one because the single point of light that we were using also illuminated her hands and she had a nice expression on her face.
What a great portrait of her! You have caught her character perfectly. I imagine her to be friendly with a great sense of humour and a ready smile.
Well done and A FAV!
@Weezilou Hey, I have all of the tools - a black backdrop, a two buck flashlight, and.......well, you might have to supply the cowboy hat. Thanks Louise. Nice to see you back on line!
@redy4et Thanks Elizabeth. My classes aren't formal classroom type classes. For many years I've been under the tutelage of a gal in Laguna Beach, Mary. She has a company called My Artist Loft. You should come down some time - lots of good info on how to use Photoshop, Light Room, and forays out for photography. Six week modules that I enjoy very much.
@mwhipple You'd be surprised at just what our "light" was. A simple penlight from above and an iPhone on the flashlight setting from below. High tech!
Well done and A FAV!
