The surf has been pretty inviting the past few days - larger than normal waves. Local surfers like this spot for some of the great breakers that form in the area. But there's one little problem that kind of gets in the way sometimes. For the record, this surfer managed to steer clear of the obstacle.
Yikes! Really great action shot. We have a surfer grandson in Virginia who talks about the surprises he’s encountered while surfing, around the world. I think surfers are like cats, they have at least 9 lives.
