butterfly silhouette by summerfield

butterfly silhouette

sunday morning, in london.

partner could sense i was uneasy with the living room awashed in the beautiful morning sun, he knew i was itching to get my camera out. so i was ordered to go for a walk while stepson prepared breakfast. i was out as fast in no time. but not before i captured the sunshine through the high window in the hallway, with the stained glass picture frame and other miscellany on the sill.

unadulterated sooc; and i so wanted to straighten and crop this. i'm about to choke.

i still haven't sorted out all the photos i took on the weekend. i'm behind in my commenting, i know. please bear with me. the good news is i've done my taxes, will have a small refund enough to buy me a sigma all purpose lens (which i will need in november when i go to LA to be the 'official' photographer at my dearest friend's alumni fundraising - i'm sure my dearest friend was just humouring me when she told me this!) and hopefully an epiphanie camera bag. and i promised partner that's the last of my photographic needs. (yeah, right!)
Beautiful window - love the silhouettes too :)
Enjoy spending your tax return!

Good for you that you remained true to the sooc challenge! It's done well, though, so not to worry!

@losthorizon - thank you, beau. the nikon also had a 'straighten' feature but i don't know if canon has it, too.
