partner wasn't quite happy that he lost the bet that he thought was a shoe-in for him. all morning i sang "if you don't know me by now, you will never, never get to know me!" and he hates that song.
before noon, we drove to the big garden east of the city by the lake. there was a big group of bird watchers at the point in the garden where i wanted to shoot. when i realized they weren't leaving anytime soon, we left the garden and explored some nearby parks and came upon this.
this is the scarborough bluffs and park. i've only been to that place four times, three of which was during the last two winters of my 365 project. however, i have never seen this view before, nor have i ever gone to these parts of the parks. i was being careful as i was standing on the edge of a cliff, and several hundred feet below me were just rocks and water. my stomach was a tad churning and my legs felt shaky. partner was behind me telling me when, where and how to move, as one wrong move and i'd be pfft! gone! forever!
later we went to the marina (that white spot on the left) and had lunch at the restaurant which we've been planning to check out. to our pleasant surprise, the food was very good and although a little bit pricier, for the amount and quality of the food they served, we thought it was reasonable. after we ate, i walked from the tip protruding at the upper left down to the second circle on the right. where was partner? in the car, sleeping. old men! :-)

It looks so beautiful! Now why are you complaining- since he was sleeping he couldn't possibly direct you- you had free time to shoot and look around for the perfect shot! Love the color of the water.
