this is not the best, and i know i am capable of something much, much better than this. but I'm crossing this off my photographic bucket list as "accomplished". why, you ask? because this is not good for the old back. despite my camera having a vari-angle screen, the mere fact that i had to sit and bend so i could see the screen better just killed my back. i could have had the option of spreading a tarp on the grass, but i get squeamish doing that. not to mention of course that the grass would instantly die from my weight!
or i could tell partner to not cut the grass anymore. :-)
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
Oh, I think it is incredibly beautiful, and very well done!! You get a FAV from me for contorting yourself to get the perfect shot from way down low (and, because I love the mini crystal ball effect!)! :-)) An ember landed on my head and burned my scalp when I was doing the steel wool night shots, so I am taking a break from those for a while! ;-)
This is an accomplishment. well done Summerfield. just lovely.
I've a slideshow by a famous photographer by the name of Krople Deszczu. with 12 music accompanied photographs of water droplets. unfortunately I can't copy and paste the link. I know you would appreciate his work.. there is only one way and that's by e-mail.
Good shot- of course you know I would have just gotten a towel and put my camera on that and shot a million shots off until I got one just right. That way I wouldn't have to bend at all! hehehe~!
How incredible to get such a perfect drop on the blade of grass - and clear as glass. Great job!
...hope your back recovers quickly... :)
