il faut croire tout est possible!

this has to be the work of a really smart graffiti writer who's definitely making a statement, although i fail to see why he/she couldn't realize that no matter what statement you're trying to make, this is still vandalism.

this is the side wall of building 10, one of the restored buildings at the Evergreen Brick Works, leading to the children's garden and the ponds. taken during my photo walkabout in the afternoon with @northy

another entry for the get pushed challenge set by @stephanies which was a picture of some graffiti.

thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
I like the light , textures and the sentiment! The plants in the foreground add something to make it special! the whole composition is a FAV for me!

Excellent find and I like the foreground plants, too. Great pop of green against the brick.

I like it, but I agree, vandalism unless it is his wall?

I'm surprised that a person who knows french could bring himself to graffiti this brick wall even though its already been messed up!
Je crois également!

great composition

just a thought - maybe it is meant to be there - leading to a childrens area and pond maybe it is an affirmation

@annied - no, the first time i was there last year, i inquired about it. i was told it was unauthorized but because it had a message and it looked 'alright' they didn't think about cleaning it off. the buildings are "heritage" buildings but the place is open to the public and anyone could go there anytime they please at their own risk. inside the main atrium where the factory proper was once situated it was full of graffiti but had now faded. part of the complex's history, i suppose. thank you, miss annie.

@summerfield thank you Miss Vikki - I agree with them I think it fits

Kind of tossed up on this. As you mention, it's ultimately vandalism, but the message could have been so much less.....informative. Makes for a great picture, though!

Is it possible that this isn't vandalism? ;-) Well spotted

Vandalism? yes - but it does make a great photo - and so much more poignant in French. I did post a response to your challenge - albeit a rather poor one.

wow this would make a great inspirational poster...fantastic capture

It does make for a great photo! Love the bricks, tones, textures and the quote.

I love the different textures and tones of the bricks. That grabs my eye before the graffiti.

I love the crumbling bricks and the message too.

Cool patterns, textures and contrasts in your pic :)

Wonderful pic!

Nice and subtle graffiti....like it a lot!! I cannot tell if the upper part of the brick had graffiti removed where the discoloration has occurred, of if that is efflorescence over the years. Great find!!

Love the detail.

Might I suggest you tag your brickworks series as industrial?
July 15th, 2015
@bill_fe - convince me.
July 15th, 2015
@summerfield Aren't brickworks industrial?
July 15th, 2015
@bill_fe - hmmm...you have a point, there, my good friend.
