the contemplation of a fallen leaf

a lone maple leaf, precariously sits on the edge of the boardwalk, contemplating its fate, whereof it's bound now that it has been detached from its mother branch. the wind can either carry it off to far away land or it can fall on the water, unnoticed. either way, its end has come.

for the second day of the one-night stand challenge. the challenge today is SOOC. i had to reset my camera's image size so i can actually post SOOC.
