this is the RBC plaza south tower on the left, with its glass windows covered in 24-karat film that makes the building all glittery when the sun shines and still sparkles on dull days. our office occupies 8 floors of this building. brookfield place towers are on the right. see how both towers are reflected on RBC's glass windows, and RBC is in turn reflected on the Brookfield's windows.
on windy days, one should not walk above ground around the financial district as flying window panes sometimes occurs. ditto after a big snow storm and cold spell, sheets of ice fall from the top of these buildings and are a danger to the people below. if you want to meet your maker, don't heed the warnings.
etsooi'd like crazy to bring out the colours as it was just all drab and gray. :-P
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated.
still unable to comment much from work; internet at the hotel is almost annoyingly nil. not worth the money i'm paying for, i might just opt to live under a bridge.
note #1: taken on the 13th of january as the exif would tell you. :-P
note #2: i didn't realize it but it's a slam dunk grand slam - four running challenges!
Glad you took your life in your hands to get this fabulous POV! The processing has turned it into a magnificent image! Living under a bridge is probably overrated, however, so even with the bad Internet you probably need to stay where you are!
I chose this one for the ETSOOI-61 challenge over the first one - one, because I personally favored it, and two, because it had the greater number of favs. Good luck!
I hear cardboard homes are all the rage.
