the parks surrounding the back of the flatiron building are being renovated and should be ready for the cityfolks to enjoy before the summer gets into full swing. for now the occasional tourists who want to photograph the mural would have to contend with the chainlink fence surrounding the parks. blimey if you're not tall enough to shoot above the fence. so, smartest way is to incorporate the darn fencing into your shot. like i did here. yes, because i am short.

I saw this yesterday and brushed over it, but then noticed its utter coolness in the thumbnail. I think when I first looked, the fence had grabbed me. To see this properly you have to sort of relax your eyes.
