this is a swarovsky crystal (when swarovsky crystal was still a rarity) which the first mr. summerfield gave me for my birthday in 1979. it opens and inside he had put one of my photos that he liked a lot at the time. this would then be about thirty-seven years old.
taken with the setting sun behind so you can appreciate i couldn't see well after that. the two keys are the souvenirs we got from the wedding we attended at in maryland last weekend; i cloned out the strings and the tags. cleaned up a whole lot of mess on that velvet fabric.
this is for this week's 52-week assignment; we are to photograph something that's sparkly artistic. do you like it?

Definitely sparkles! I like the simple composition. I seem to have lost my way with the 52 week challenge. Maybe I should get back on board and see if the phojo gets sparked.
