centre of the universe in black and white

this is the display window for louis vuitton bags at the hudson's bay department store, a mid- to high-end (read: much much more expensive than walmart) department store in downtown toronto. balls made to look like the planets and their satellites hanging against a black backdrop simulating the outer space, with a LV bag smack right in the middle. i don't know what exactly the message is, but it could be that LV must be sold in the outer space, too! not!

in any case, you can see an old building reflected on the glass windows as well as a more modern building behind. if your eyes are really that good, you can make out the reflection of the traffic and some passersby.

for one night stand #11, the bill for today is "reflection". before heading for home, i moseyed on down to the city hall to shoot a reflection of lights on the fountain but guess what - the fountain was drained of water to accommodate some summer exhibits and whatnots. argh!

the coloured version, if you're so inclined, is here: http://365project.org/summerfield/365-again/2016-07-19
That reflection really pops in B&W!

I do like the coloured version because that bag would be in colour and it is probably worth millions!

It's pretty in color, but I like the b&w better

I think the b&w has a wonderful sense of mystery.

Very cool! Btw, r u sure it's the bay? Downtown bay is now split in half, with SAMs on one dude and the bay on the other... It's very confusing...

An almost abstract look to it.
