well, at lunchtime, we rode the subway train from union station to the eaton centre, one of the large malls here in toronto, this one in the downtown area. we couldn't believe how huge it is and how jampacked with people it was today! probably because it's 31 degrees celcius and there's a heat warning in effect as the humidex could've easily been 39 degrees. i was telling one of the assistants that it is better than -45 humidex we had last winter; good thing she agreed!
so there i was with mr. padraigh penwyn from the fourth floor walkway looking down the huge dancing water fountain below. don't worry, we were actually standing on the floor behind a glass wall so we were not in any kind of danger. it was far better than what might have been because grandy had this grand idea to take our photo on the subway platform as the train was coming in. we balked when some kids got curious and tried to stomp on us. how rude! and then they were claiming that we were their toys. i mean, excuse me! it was a good thing that hop-along bob didn't come with us (because mr. c went home early today so HAB was once again "in charge". hahaha!) or he'd been toynapped by those gangly little kids, because as we all know, kids are gung-ho over those minions, and HAB is supposed to be the cutest of them,

Excellent planning to get everything in focus so nicely. What a narrow escape at the station too. you don't look very safe here so it was nice to hear you are behind a glass wall.
Oh goodness! The Critters and I would be scared to death by stomping kids! We're glad Leigh and her siblings understand we're "Grammy's" toys! And since heights make Miss Ann's stomach flutter getting this shot would be a little tough for her. What an adventure you have had! Piggy
