one of my dear office buddies always brings flowers from her garden. i can only imagine how beautiful her garden is. i took this arrangement from her desk and brought it to the library's sitting room. my intention was to take a photo with the painting on the wall for i have seen such a composition in a home and architecture magazine a long time ago. but its shadow cast on the wall by the setting sun looked like a different thing altogether. i tried different angles so that the wall sockets are out of the way but there was just no going around about it. looking at the image on my laptop, i was glad with this image, the shadows looking like one of those sinister plants in "the little shop of horrors". it also looks quite deceiving, but measuring the frame, it's actually a perfect half and half.

fitness challenge update: happily sitting at #3 and if the good weather continues this long weekend, i should be able to catch up and get a lot of photos, too, in the process.
I thought Little Shop .... before I read your narrative. Hope you get that #1 fitness slot

Clever title. Wonderful half-and-half with great light in color.

Congrats on the # 3 position.

Those are beautiful flowers and they do make a nice shadow too. Well done 😊

The flowers and their shadow contrast very well for the two distinct halves of this. Clever idea.

This is awesome (except for the fact that I now have the title song from "Little Shop of Horrors" stuck in my head...bop shoe bop...)
