a few shades of grey by summerfield

a few shades of grey

leaves covering a wooden fence, this errant branch just on its own and called for a shot. this would've been a really nice and colourful photo if i didn't convert it to black and white. however the details of the wood are much more defined than the original shot.

another zoo shot.

Both the tree branch and fence make good subjects for this image.

I love the simplicity and I think you were wise to choose black and white to bring out the detail of the wood grain and the leaves
