purple or violet?

that's the question.

the answer: macarons and smarties!

these are sweet taro (or purple potato) flavoured macarons.

they taste delicious.

they fit today's rainbow colour of purple or violet.

they're also...gone!

why?

because i ate them whilst posting this.

and the smarties?

i don't know, last time i looked they were there. maybe the gremlins ate them.

Your rainbow looks great. I love purple potatoes. The first time I had them, we were told they were from Puru, but look pretty with a mixture of the small fingerlings. I've never seen macaroons made with purple potatoes. It must be a Canadian thing.
