i'm not a fan of coconut but godiva chocolatiers make superb macaroons that whenever i enter their shop i just want one for myself. today, one of guys has a birthday. he's got bottles of wine, fruit basket and other stuff. he's one of the very decent guys i know so i moseyed on down to the godiva shop below our building and got him a box of truffles. and of course, i had to treat myself to a white chocolate macaroon. and once i start having sweets, i can't seem to stop!
for week 14 of the 52-week challenge. it's vision week and we needed to "connect 2 or 3 images together, creating one image, to provoke a thought or tell a story."
i suppose even without writing anything, you'd have discerned the story in just one glance anyway.
@annied - to tell you the truth, the macaroon in the top photo was just half of what it was as i actually started eating it. needless to say, the shots were just limited to those three. couldn't wait any longer. :-D
Great story telling. Looks like you have another two or three shots before completing the picture. I don't think if I had visited godivas and come back with that macaroon, it would ever have made it to a plate.
I like that when I stop back in to see what everyone is up to I can tell a photo is yours before seeing the name. Looks like you are still having fun and still taking awesome photos.
@summerfield Every day- camera in the car, on the desk and on the kitchen table. Ready for nature and surprises. Someday I will get back to 365 but for now I like to stop in and see what people are up to.
I am impressed you stopped long enough to take photos - mine would have been gone in a gulp hahahaha
