little blue has a big family. can you see the obvious problem here for us? what if all those little blues ring their alarm all at the same time? there would be ringing in your ears! get it?
this idea came to me last night as we were partaking of the wedding dinner. lord! my brilliant ideas are always hatched around food. no wonder i couldn't lose weight.
my bestie invited one of their good friends to the wedding and because he only knew quite a few people at the party, she made me sit beside him so he would have someone to talk to. making the story short, the guy was so obvious with his flirting and, while my ego was preening knowing i still got it, i realized then that i am no longer comfortable with flirting men. or with flirting for that matter. too bad, because he was good looking and he was rather smart to talk to. but the last time i got attracted to a man i thought was smart, turned out he wasn't smart after all. and smart is the lifeblood of my relationships, and one cannot pretend to be smart the whole time. once i see through it, my warning is "don't let the door hit you when you leave".
I thought Little Blue brought all his family to the wedding. Very creative. Little Blue must be the best buy you ever made, especially for your photography.
Good to see little blue in fine form here And glad to know that the alarm bells went off for you with your over-flirtatious wedding guest. I too would be highly suspicious. Smart all round :)
I see "Little Blue's" relatives are not "all in the same time zone" or set to get up at the same time so I imagine your ears are
safe from the ringing!!
And your good judgment is keeping you "safe" from less than ideal companionship... but glad "you've 'still got' it"
!!😉
Such a clever concept and even better execution especially since you were otherwise occupied at a wedding. Nice of you to keep the gentleman company and nicer to know he is a continent away when you return home!
Goodness me, Little Blue has been busy while you're away earning a crust. Love this shot, do hope all those alarms don't synchronise it would be a tad loud. BTW, your story is, as usual, both hilarious and makes a lot of sense.
A great collage of Little Blue! The best time is here!
I really enjoyed your story, and I always knew that you still had it!
While flirting can be a pain in the you know what, it is a dying art nowadays it seems.
Perhaps Mr. Good Looking was not well versed in the art. People who are connected to their phones no longer know how to flirt without going overboard.
@farmreporter - au contraire, he was very well versed, very direct in a subtle way, but rather obvious, a friend of bestie from high school thought he was my husband/boyfriend the way he paid attention to me. i had thought i was reading it all wrong in the beginning but as the night progressed i knew. i never was into one night stands even when i was younger, and my last relationship had left a bad taste in the mouth i don't think i'd go into one ever again. i loved conversing with him though that i was able to conduct a mini interview sans him knowing it.😜
safe from the ringing!!
