no, not a panorama shot. it's a collage made to look like a panorama. in fact, the building just in front of my apartment building is between these two shots.
from my living room, i get to see a lot of sky activities. i am facing southeast. i can see downtown toronto and its skyline in the southwest; parts of lake ontario in between those buildings from the centre towards the left. sunrise colours are beautiful and they wake me up in the morning when it's a good day. i get to see rainbows invariably over the left photo. sometimes these views are obscured by mists and fogs. and there are times sunset colours are well reflected when there are sufficient clouds in the sky. this band of clouds was special because it streched from way northeast, which i can glimpse if i lean towards the eastern most part of the balcony (which i'm not inclined so much because there's always pigeon poops, plus i don't trust those railings) all the way towards the east. just hanging there like that.
plus i didn't take a photo at all today, except for my five plus two post. this week the theme is shadow. that's easy enough for you to take a self portrait, right? see my shadow here: https://365project.org/fiveplustwo/365/2018-09-19 and maybe you'll be inspired to join in.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond - just a collage function in ribbet.com. i used a tripod so that the settings are the same all around. the panorama stitcher i often use would not stitch them together so i used the collage in ribbet. the clouds aligned themselves instantly, i had to doctor off the trees. in fact you can see the anomaly in the middle where that building is jutting up, the right horizon is lower than the left. but who's looking, hey? :-)
