red berries by summerfield

red berries

keeping with the red and green theme of the last two days, this little thing was the first to catch my eye. been sitting there in the corner for three years. i think it was a decor for a gift basket that i got from someone who probably liked me.

i'm thinking how i can photograph a table knife to accompany my fork and spoon shots from the last two days but i haven't got any idea yet. i'm pretty sure something in my mind will coagulate at some point before the year ends.

i have a long list of things to do for when i retire. too many things to do, too little time. i'd need two lifetimes to get through it, i'm pretty sure. retirement is the theme this week over at five plus two. check us out: https://365project.org/fiveplustwo/365/2018-12-05

I like this ole thing that was just sitting in the corner for three years. Smile. It looks very much like Christmas.

A most festive shot. I must get myself in the Christmas mode. I do like the twist.

The needles contrast well with the white card behind them and the red berries provide more contrast. All together, although this is a simple composition it is gorgeous.
